which you might find helpful in your planning of your trip – or getting a better idea of the size of this wonderful country of over 800 000 square kilometers. Did you know that if you joined France and Great Britain together, Namibia is still larger? If you have less than 10 days to visit Namibia, then you must either having a flying safari or you are going to be limited to visit only 1 or 2 regions in Namibia, to avoid a very rushed vacation. Namibia is a very large country with less than 15% of the roads having a sealed surface (tarred) – so
driving on the dusty gravel roads takes a lot longer than
what you might assume when looking at a map. Namibia is
one of my favourite countries to enjoy a holiday, with
wide open spaces, few tourists in the remote areas and
such stunning scenery with changing colours throughout
the day!
